Oil well cements are used in the drilling stage of oil wells. Low density slurries and cements are utilized where long columns in weak formations are required. Cenospheres are used in the lightweight drilling fluids and cement. Cenospheres chemically stable, incompressible, and insoluble in water or oil. use of cenosphere in drilling cement slurries decrease slurry density without increased water content.
